Teaching Philosophy (excerpt):

I determine my success as an educator based on my ability to foster a positive classroom environment where students are comfortable to critically discuss each other’s artworks. Through these conversations, they learn to approach and consider art from new perspectives in ways which improve their technical abilities as well as their conceptual depth. And by using an interdisciplinary approach to teaching, I provide students the necessary tools to make broader and more nuanced connections in order to navigate the world of art with confidence. I strive to inspire mindfulness and critical thought, and to help students become articulate in a visual language; to become fluent using their own visual voice.
 

During my time as Adjunct Professor of Art at Columbia College, I've taught:
Jewelry I-IV, Video Art, Digital Media, 2-Dimensional Design, and Special Problems I-II
